Terms & Conditions
BAB Roofing

These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by BAB Roofing (“we”, “our”, “us”) to the customer (“you”, “your”).

By accepting a quote, engaging our services, or allowing work to commence, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

1. Quotes and Acceptance
All quotes provided by BAB Roofing are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
Quotes are based on the information available at the time of inspection or provided by the customer. If additional work is required due to unforeseen circumstances, a variation to the quote may apply.
Acceptance of a quote may occur when:

The customer signs the quote or agreement

The customer provides written or verbal confirmation
-
Work is authorised to begin.
2. Scope of Work
BAB Roofing will carry out the roofing services outlined in the approved quote.
Any work not included in the quote will be considered additional work and may incur additional charges.
We will notify the customer and seek approval before proceeding with additional work where possible.
3. Access to Property
The customer must provide safe and reasonable access to the property for our team, equipment, and materials.
BAB Roofing will not be responsible for delays or additional costs resulting from:

Restricted access
-
Unsafe site conditions
-
Obstructions preventing work from being completed.
4. Payment Terms
Payment terms will be specified in the quote or invoice.
Unless otherwise agreed:

A deposit may be required before work begins
-
Progress payments may apply for larger projects
-
The remaining balance must be paid upon completion of the work.
Late payments may incur additional fees where permitted by law.
BAB Roofing reserves the right to suspend work or withhold completion if payments are overdue.
5. Variations
Any changes requested by the customer after work has commenced may result in additional costs and time delays.
All variations will be discussed and agreed upon before proceeding where possible.
6. Delays
BAB Roofing will make every effort to complete work within the estimated timeframe.
However, delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our control, including:

Weather conditions
-
Material shortages
-
Safety concerns
-
Unexpected structural issues.
We will communicate any significant delays to the customer as soon as possible.
7. Warranty
BAB Roofing provides a workmanship warranty in accordance with applicable Australian laws.
Material warranties are subject to the terms provided by the manufacturer.
The warranty does not cover damage caused by:

Extreme weather events
-
Lack of maintenance
-
Structural issues unrelated to roofing work
-
Work performed or altered by third parties.
8. Liability
BAB Roofing will take reasonable care when performing services.
However, we are not liable for:
-
Pre-existing damage or structural issues
-
Hidden defects that become visible during the work
-
Indirect or consequential loss.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights available under Australian Consumer Law.
9. Site Safety
The customer must ensure that children, pets, and other occupants stay clear of the work area during the project.
BAB Roofing will take reasonable precautions to maintain a safe working environment.
10. Cancellation
If a customer cancels a confirmed booking:

Cancellation fees may apply if materials have already been ordered or work scheduled

Any costs incurred prior to cancellation may be charged to the customer.
11. Ownership of Materials
All materials supplied by BAB Roofing remain the property of BAB Roofing until full payment has been received.
12. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia.
Any disputes arising from these services will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia.
